Site Rules & Expectations

To make sure everyone visiting our park has a relaxing and enjoyable stay, we ask that you read our Site Guide expectations. It is with regret that anyone found to be in breach of these reasonable expectations will be requested to leave the park immediately. This is for the safety and enjoyment of all of our visitors stay.

Identification

As part of our commitment to your safely and security, upon arrival we will need to take a copy of a form of photo ID for our records.

Parking

Please park only one car to each pitch. Other cars may be parked in our designated parking area. We have a 5mph speed limit applies on all Park roads. For your safety and the safety of others please adhere to the speed limit. Our roads are classed as public highways and bound by road traffic laws in respect to driving under the influence of drink and drugs. Seatbelts must also be worn whilst driving around the Park.

Flood Emergency

Yarwell Mill Country Park is surrounded by the River Nene with a fishing lake at its centre and set within the Nene Valley. We have made preparations for the evacuation of the park should flooding ever become likely. Please note the flood watch warning signs displayed at the entrance to the Park which will give you an indication of risk levels. In the event of any out of hours emergency on the park please call 07526 795317.

Children

Please ensure that your children are monitored at all times for their safety. Please do not let children play around the Mill or Entrance to the park for their own safety. Please keep away from steep banks on the river, lake and Mill Pond.

Swimming

No diving or swimming is permitted anywhere on the Park.

Fishing

Fishing is included in the price of your booking however you must provide your valid Fishing Licence in at reception. This applies to fishing both the Nene and the lakes. We adhere to the Environment Agencies seasonal fishing guidelines.

Pitches

The law requires a safe distance be kept between tents and tourers whilst on the Park. Please leave at least 6 metres between your caravan, awning, gazebo or tent and your neighbours. In accordance with our site license tow hitches must be pointing towards the road for ease of access in case of emergency.

Toilets & Showers

The toilet and shower block are available for your use during your stay and we ask that you Do Not put any nappies, sanitary ware or baby wipes (even if they say they are flushable) down the toilets as these WILL block our drainage system. If there are any problems during your stay with hot water etc. please contact Reception.

BBQs

Barbeques are permitted on the Park but must be kept at a safe distance from your tent or unit. Under no circumstances should you take a barbeque into your tent or unit as this is a carbon monoxide hazard. The barbeque must be raised off the floor.

Prohibited

  • Sky lanterns are Prohibited.
  • No camp fires or fire pits may be lit on any area of the Park.
  • Swimming in Lakes or River.

Dogs

As we are in an area of natural beauty and have an abundance of wildlife, please ensure you keep your dogs on a lead at all times and clean up after them. There are plenty of dog bins provided and a designated area where they can be let off the lead.

Bins & Recycling

We actively encourage a recycling initiate within the park and ask that you respect this by ensuring you dispose of your rubbish correctly using the green bins for your recyclable rubbish and black bins for your non recyclable rubbish. Our bins are located by the Pastures and the Shower Block.

Out of Bounds

Mill Lane is a residential area and is strictly accessible to residents only.

Gas Bottles

Gas bottles are available to purchase from Reception.

Please report any emergencies to the reception staff or by calling 01780 782344. In the event of any out of hours emergency on the park please call 07526 795317.
